Aug 24, 2023 Rogue River Trail Trail Report

Bridge is blocked off. The bridge looks functionally okay, examining it from underneath, no rot or other obvious problems. I see that there are turnbuckles that keep the two supporting laminated beams registered to each other. I wonder if anyone has ever been up underneath there and tightened up the turnbuckles? They look loose on the eastern end of the bridge. It's this end that is all wobbly, as if the turn buckles were loose. Hard to get to now, maybe from a boat once the lake is completely full?
