Tree still down per my last two reports as of 9/27 - I'm tempted to rent a chainsaw at this point. I accidentally tested the rapid duck tree avoidance method, and my head is still attached.

Damp, mostly okay. The steep switchbacks are steep, and switchbacky. Not my favorite piece of trail. view
