Description:
Traveling from south to north the trail eventually deteriorates into cow paths and the drainage, but is entirely passable (cover up for the thorns). The last stretch in the CDO proper requires jumping on and off the bike. But if you keep pushing downstream you arrive at the Gap Road.

90 percent of the trail is washed out or heavily overgrown with thorn bushes. Sad day view

Thanks for the update! The last report made it sound like the trail was totally erased. Sounds like it's still a back country adventure. Was it fun?

Yes, fun as long as you're ready to go backcountry! Had a very nice day out there and the trail is entirely navigable/passable, acknowledging that it dumps you into the CDO drainage for the last bit.

Also--please note that this is dropping off Mt. Lemmon down Red Ridge to lower CDO. Upper CDO, to my knowledge, is blitzed from the Bighorn fire and isn't planned for rehab.
