Description:
Most of the trail was burned over by the Downton fire. Trail bed is still intact, but sink holes, from burned out roots, exist. Not currently recommended for travel. Trail flagged with green tape.

Downton Lake fire jumped Gun Creek afternoon of the 17th, much of the Lick Creek area is now burning and the area under evacuation order. view

I went the opposite way of Trailforks. Not so nice without a throttle. But the trail is in good shape. view
