Description:
The trail has a lot of erosion and a very gravelly surface. Since this is a fall line trail the trail has been impacted by the horses that share the trail. I had a great challenging hike and the views were awesome.

Trail starts easy and shaded then turns left and gets much rougher. No chance of encountering horses up there - too hazardous for them. Good hike.... view
