Jan 11, 2024 Sobo no Michi - Climbing Trail - Lower Section Trail Report

Road was cleared/tracked out by vehicles to bottom of climbing trail, but the entire climbing trail is snow covered. I pushed up Jan 10 and had first tracks. About 4" of crunchy snow at the bottom, and up to a foot higher up at Sykes crossing. A bit less under tree cover. It is a tough push, never mind pedaling. Dropped down Broadway. Steeper parts were rideable and fun as shit. Where ever the trail was flat or uphill, I was pushing. Only the lowest trails or ones that get tracked out by hikers were rideable.
