Description:
It was my first time hiking there and next to impossible to see the old range radar mounts due to the snow cover, which fortunately I found. I'll have to go back after the snow has thawed. Interesting to learn that the actual Nike missile launchers were stored at the bottom of the hill near the intersection of Rt. 303 and the Palisades Pkwy. The site at the top off of Tweed Blvd. was actually the forward radar detection station site.
