Serpent Spin Trail Report - Prevalent Mud - Apr 2, 2024

Trail head was open including the bike wash station. Main trail head for other trails at Russell Park was clearly closed so after earlier in the day seeing other riders entering this trail and the entry open, assumed this trial must have been cleared and was good to go. It definitely wasn't! Many large trees over trail, overgrowth including stinging nettles, and soft sections - I suspect it was illegally opened! Would avoid riding this. Hopefully it is cleared some time as it would have been a great trail but it will take a lot of work to get it back to ridable condition.
