This section of the FLT from the access point across Route 10 from the parking lot at the corner of Route 10 and 268 is really wet in the beginning, the first steep hill is slippery. After that it's ok. There are areas where it's not well marked and there's a fair amount of branches and trees across the trail. I'm thinking whomever maintains this part of the trail hasn't been able to get out there yet this year. Also, I was hiking with my son and we both picked up ticks. Mine was a dog tick and his was a deer tick.
