Description:
Recent engineering inspections of the 6.8 and 9.3 km bridges on the Gun Creek Trail identified that the structures have reached the end of life and require replacement. Replacement of both structures is anticipated to take place in the fall.

We are working with a consultant to assess and determine the full scope of the fire-damaged facilities, including the Jewel Bridge trailhead bridge and the Eldorado Creek bridge and will develop a restoration plan when this scope has been determined.

To protect the public, all portions of Gun Creek Trail between the park boundary (50.906966, - 122.887758) and the junction with Gun Meadows Trail (50.977895, - 122.979425) will remain closed until safe access can be restored.
