Description:
Riding nice, wildflowers are blooming. There is ~1/2 mile that still has some divots from the horses, not that bad. Mostly east facing part starting about 1 mile in, the horses must have been on that section right after the snow melted in the spring.

Top section is good but bottom section still pretty rutted up from horse and bike trails thru winter months. view

Pretty much whole trail is dry. One or two very minor damp patches. Quite a lot of ruts from mtb and fat bikes thru the winter and bottom section,... view

 Red Ledges are a bunch of jerks for making such crappy access to this trail. The horses go off of Red Ledges land to avoid the gravel hill anyway! Just make an agreement with that land owner to cut a decent bike trail to get onto this worthy trail. The first mile is HELL, but it could be so great and well used access to Coyote if not for that. I hike, run, and ride this. Secondarily, maybe some very minor signage lower down as horse and bike cross each other so often. I'm happy to help with any of this.
