Description:
Trail is great. Standard late June Alaska backcountry riding. Awesome type-2 adventure fun. Not a beginner ride, but nothing scary technical either. Bug spray is helpful.

You’ll want long sleeves long pants and glasses for all the brush encroaching on the trail. Cow Parsnip will slap your legs and arms for some long sections, but the trail is easy to follow.

Several big trees across the trail, but there are clear walk-arounds.

If you’re looking to get into the wild and explore the backcountry to a long day you’ll have a great time. Bring a water filter so you don’t have to have a heavy pack.
