Description:
Amazing hike!!! Cloudy at start then turned sunny shortly after reaching the summit! Then watched 3 mountain goats on opposite mountain face....to then see a pack of wolves apparently take one for dinner. My decent was fast and steep!!! I cut cross-trail straight down the mountain for the first half (My Garmin battery died as I had forgotten to charge it, but got it on Strava). Beautiful views of all surrounding mountains including Rainier!!! It was a very strenuous climb (I kept my pace the entire time up/down (even jogging on the way down half the way). I only paused briefly to be able to snap some pics.
