Description:
Did this trail yesterday. Ran into a Metro Vancouver maintenance worker who informed that the trail is for hiking/equestrian use only. No bikes allowed.

 Either the worker is incorrect or you had found your way onto Diez Vistas or one of the smaller trails in that area. The bear claw trail(s) itself is marked as cycling ok on the BC Hydro Map and on the trailhead itself.
