Description:
An emergency closure order for the Chalk Fire, which was reported July 17 in the Middle Fork Ranger District. Closure order 06-18-10-24-19 is effective July 29, 2024, through Nov. 15, 2024, unless modified or rescinded.

NF road 1910, 683 and 1912 are closed. There really is no road access to Alpine Trail.

Snow blocked last section of road to cates cut in so bailed down 683 to lower alpine. A few trees down but lower is in great shape. view
