Yea it needs a chainsaw. I know there's a guy who goes around with a chainsaw from time to time and clears things but this trail isn't as popular with the dog walkers so I don't know if it will ever get cleared. It's super overgrown near the bridge. I've been meaning to check harmony creek cross country to see if it's been cleared yet but the last time I tried going for a walk at the end of June I was swarmed by mosquitoes. They don't seem as bad now so I might give it another try. It's one of my favourite trails.

I haven't even looked at that one this summer, it was ankle-deep between the downed log and the birch trees plus with the amount of rain we've got I can't imagine it's even come close to being dry.
I'm going to pick up a battery-powered chainsaw once a decent one goes on sale but I'm nervous about using it in the dog park. I don't see the prioritizing cleaning up some off-the-beaten-path trails. I don't think it'll be a problem down in the valley because not too many people walk it but I'm not trying to get a fine. Would like to rough in some new trails and clean up some of the old stuff and get it ridable again.

@CMFredriksson88: I just took a walk through and it's dried up well, a few slightly greasy spots but the tree situation is still really bad. There's a spot on harmony creek XC just before you get to the fork at the end of the bypass where a massive tree or several trees have come down and it's so overgrown I was barely able to figure out how to get around it. That was really the worst area and might even be too dangerous to clean up. I'm gonna put a trail report up with photos.
