Sep 15, 2024 Coupler's Run Loop Trail Report

Lots of trees down. I haven’t ridden these trails for a couple months, and the summer storms have taken their toll. 2 trees down behind the camp; always seems to be a place for downed trees; one small, one very large double tree. More down after crossing the gas line. Another large one after climbing the hill from the stream, further up where the hill isn’t as steep. Several down on Panther Run as well; Upper Horn Shanty clear as was Bloom Rd, but a couple new small trees down on Horn Shanty on the return to the parking lot. Chain saws needed for most of these trees.
