Description:
The trail might appear open, because all official attempts to block it have been thwarted by renegade trail users. As the owners and stewards of Wenakeening Woods, the Upper Charles Conservation Land Trust board is very concerned about soil erosion, and damage to the vegetation and the character of the property that rogue trails can do and strongly discourages the use of this trail.

Trail is actually open on the ground, and running great. No signs tell the users that it is closed, and it appears to be frequently used. view

 I posted the last report and rode this trail unknowingly at the time (I do not know these trails well), only realizing it after the fact when reviewing my ride log and entering my usual trail reports. This is good to know, moving forward.

 No worries, trying to close unauthorized has been a little bit like a game of whack-a-mole, hence my initial reaction.
