Abandoned path ? Hard to stay on the trail or to find it mostly at the beginnings. Maybe I don’t take the good way ‍♂️ view

@skullsprite ....bgb is being nicer than I'd be.
How about doing something about it? Much better to post a report showing some pruning and grooming than the useless rubbish you wrote above.
I guess you still believe in ‍♂️ ‍♀️

Sorry, i don’t typically bring bush whacking tools on my rides. If you do, good on you, go ride it and fix it. If not it’s posted here for someone who can do something about it. while your at it, many of the wood features are rotting out, fix those too.

@skullsprite: hahaha, nice. Love the energy! That's that power bottom type stuff!
You made time to get out from under the highway bridge in surrey you undoubtedly live under and go for a ride, so clearly you've got time to bring some tools next time and get to work clearing the line.

@skullsprite: Really? I rode SB 3 weeks ago and it’s actually quite clear and brushed out compared to how it’s been in the past. Wouldn’t call it virtually unrideable… unless brushing up against ferns scares you.

Btw I call BS on you not having time. Many of us don’t even live on the shore but find time to clear out trails / rake / fix up old moves. Instead of hoping someone will answer your beckoning call of “fix those too” why not do something about it instead of complaining here.

@454propane: maybe it was due to the rain everything was hanging lower and more sideways into the trail

@skullsprite: donate to your local trail association if you don't like leaves touching your fragile ego

There's a few things that could be done about that, I guess posting here is one of them.

I live over an hour away and don’t have any tools to deal with the issues myself. Posting it here was the best i was aware i could do. If i could i would deal with it myself however i don’t have the recourses too.

@skullsprite: It's more the attitude bud. If you cared to know, these trails have been around longer than you have, and have been maintained by many different builders in that time. I understand not everyone is local and can take the time to maintain a trail, especially while trying to get a ride in, but if you're not going to do anything about it and just complain about it, you're not helping the case at all.

@blackghostbike: I was posting here so someone who could do something would be aware of the issues, or so someone like me who doesn’t know the trail conditions and is going there to ride some fun classic north shore trails isn’t disappointed by a bush.

@skullsprite: "Trail could use some love, it's pretty overgrown. Tough to ride in it's current state"

@blackghostbike: Or, its in good condition with a bit of brush. We are in the woods you know.

Anyone can clear brush. You don't need to ask the builder.
