Description:
Good place to check out if you are looking for something a bit different. Gave me smiths gully vibes. Parts of it are overgrown but still rideable. Really nice dirt and evidence that it was once well cared for. Plenty of rock gardens. Not too difficult.
Humevale descent had been damaged up top with a bulldozer clearing the access track and really needs a trim.
Came across some cool features at the bottom there but you could tell its all disused.
If you want to change it up on your return to Sherwins Reserve I chose to ride Track 1. Very wild ride.

Yes, ur not the first to observe the Smiths feel. Both Humevale and Smith drain well after rain. Certainly, the old school loop you rode has seen better days. The original trail builders and the ones that come later don’t maintain their trails. I’ve started doing some clearing of the ti tree further up, and some new berms have been put in on the descent back to scrubby.
