Description:
Due to safety concerns relating to the eucalypt trees in this area of the park, (there has been a steady increase in limbs dropping over and around the tracks and/or hung up in nearby trees), park managers are opting to close the tracks in this area until further notice.
A full review of the trail network at Waitawa will be completed in the near future, this will include investigating options for managing the eucalyptus effecting the track viability.
