Description:
CLOSED: Deer Creek Canyon Park, Rattlesnake Gulch, & Black Bear Trails closed until further notice following the Quarry Fire.
Deer Creek Canyon Park, as well as Black Bear and Rattlesnake Gulch Trails remain closed until further notice while we complete damage assessment, repair, hazard assessment, and hazard mitigation. These activities are standard for post-fire operations and are required for visitor safety and resource protection prior to reopening the park. Known damage to the park includes fire suppression actions, trail tread, and erosion due to severe to moderate burn areas. There is no expected open date for any of the park and/or trail connections within the park due to the work being done. Thanks for giving the park space and time to heal!
