Track was good but the detour around the slip isn't signposted so you need to look at Strava heat map to see the detour. Carried ebikes over the slip good workout!!

Running well, saw probably 30 or so 4WD’s. The slip can fairly easily be hiked over with a bike, maybe not if you’re 70 with a 30kg commuter bike. view

Fine conditions. We punctured twice so I guess bring spares and patches aplenty. River crossings were easily rideable and the detour on the slip... view

rode 8 July 2025, river crossing knee depth, walk/carry across old slip about 200m, few muddy sections-only tip toed around 1 boggy bit. view
