Description:
Motorized, Garfield to Dingford: Clear and passable after Nov. bomb cyclone. Large puddles but minimal mud. Had no problem in a 2WD van with clearance, but it was a little spicy. Some camping pullouts were ultra-gooey brownie batter, watch it if you go in there...
Non-motorized, Dingford to hot spring: also clear, more mud and puddles. I felt good with my choice of a hardtail with 2.4s. Looked like it would suck on a gravel bike, but maybe you'd still love it if you're that churn-the-grundle-butter type?
Past hot spring: still clear most of the way up to Middle Fork jct, smaller stuff to hop over. Some difficult deadfall in the last 1/4 mile at east end towards Middle Fork jct. Snow line at 2700, thin cover. Only went to Middle Fork jct, looked burly after that.
