Description:
Quite a few trees down that need to get the bike lifted over. Definitely the most technical part out of the three segments. A few areas are a bit overgrown onto the track making it slow going to avoid hitting invisible stumps or stones. Could do with a little bit of love.
Be advised that the bridge to get to Waingaro hut at the very end is very narrow and is quite difficult to transport bikes over -- we left our bikes on the other side of the bridge overnight to avoid bringing over.
