Description:
Trail is rutted from last winter’s rains (and probably 2022’s winter storms too) but they are all dry/hard packed. You will see a lot of coyote activity as evidenced by the scat on the trail- at least it’s not the regular dog poop issue!
The short scramble at the peak has a bit of overgrowth from those previous rains but nothing out of the ordinary. If we get a small amount of rain this winter, it will be good for conditions, and maybe allow for a little trailwork to rehab some of the deeper ruts.
I saw some mtb tracks at the top but, as a mountain biker, I would not have fun on this. Much better enjoyment as a hiking trail for sure.
