"Closed" area, because of fires.
A friend who rode up to Brown Mt. and back down to El Prieto a couple of days ago said they have bulldozed a 12 ft wide road all the way to the top. ALL single track is gone. Dips, gullies, trailside trees - gone. And since the bulldozing was done quickly, there is erosion and small slides everywhere on the road.
Friend said El Prieto was okay, just signs of little use lately.
