Description:
The climb at the start around portage was greasy and was best to walk than rip the track up. It was still wet and soft.
Did this ride from Punga Cove to Anakiwa. Didn't get started till the boat dropped me off at 10.30am with pick up at 4.00pm needed to be there at 3.30pm so a target of 5 hours. Didn't give much time to rest. Had to manage battery on Ebike as 1,400 climb meters and 42 km distance was hard to judge. Well worth the effort and a good distance for an ebike as long as you manage battery and respect walkers.
