Description:
Overgrown vegetation Tracey and I spent the morning up at Douglas doing some de-vegetation work. We used and old African/Swahili method, where by you chew this special resin then lick it all around the edges of the trails to keep the growth under control. Seeing as we had some spare time and plenty of resin left over we not only did lower Keelback but full red tail black including the original entrance from scrubs. Plus sticks and stones and easy St out from there. Red tail was so hot, rocky and rutted that by the end I couldn't tell which was worse my tongue from the licking or my feet. (see photo, this occurred on first trail Keelback) at least it was only 33 real feel 42. Never sculled 2 ltrs of water so quick. That resin is yucky! Hopefully it gives us some time in the next few years. Remember to pile those rocks for Sam at the top of Keelback.

 yup, dont think i topped them up since maybe 5 years ago?? rookie error? served me well in Europe in 1998, but not up to DOUGIE!!!
