Description:
Hard to find good trail access at Rosalia. Don't use 7th St. Use street on N end of town that passes sewage treatment. After out/back ride, Rose pub/brewery w/pizza is great spot - on E side of main street toward S end of town. Trial mostly good, soft in places, with several gates to open/close. Surface ranges from medium firm to compact dirt to rideable marble size to 1.5" stones - basically very rideable w/gravel bike to 4" knobby. Great for e-bike. Some fresh small gravel at both sides of road crossing create some challenges and invite walking bike for some riders; some minimal grades at some of these road crossings. Malden TH is great, with good vault toilet, bike tune-up stand, shelter w/picnic tables, historic display and fresh water, including for dogs and bottle filling.
