Description:
FAMB cleared obstructing trees up to the snow line at 6500 ft (about 5 miles up). Snow should be melted out in the next few weeks. We brushed the worst parts with the saw, only aiming for the thick vegetation. Trail will be more brushy as plants leaf out in June/July.
The avalanche paths at miles 4.6 and 4.8 are eroded and can be dangerous to cross until tread is reconstructed. There are parts where the tread is completely gone, and a misstep could lead to a long tumble. Proceed with caution.
