trail is in good shape. drainage work 2 seasons ago is paying dividends on western side .shown as one trail, this is really two trails as mapped here. the consistent grade from verdi up to the saddle is a nice mtb style trail. continuing west, wrapping along the creek is a XC moto style trail.
