Jul 13, 2025 CDT (Whiskey Spring Creek) Trail Report

The trail is currently cow-free, has not been recently trampled, and is in pretty good shape, at least compared to the last couple of summers. The upper half-mile is bumpy, but everything else rides pretty well. The CDT through-hikers have still not taken to this re-route, and the CDT sign at the top end is now missing. The trail could use some work and signs/posts where the trail disappears at the cow patch on the ridge and at the creek crossing, and the meadow section needs better drainage.
