From Friday afternoon - Sunday weekly, trailhead is expected to be open if construction allows. From Monday through thursday is expected to be closed. Most up to date information can be found here: https://www.instagram.com/durangomesapark/?g=5
When closed, access only available from Zipline (horse gulch bench) and north.
Details of work when closed:
Horse Gulch Trailhead, along with the lower portion of Horse Gulch Road, Mesa Connector trail and Intermediate Downhill trail, is CLOSED due to waterline construction. Heavy machinery is on-site, and for your safety, there is no pedestrian or bike access from the road or the trailhead at this time. You can only access trails using alternate routes outlined on the map in our post.

Parking is not allowed in the Horse Gulch Medical Center lot.
