There seems to be some confusion about what closed means...
Just to clarify: when we say Glider Road track is closed, we don’t mean “closed, but feel free to scale landslips and cut through fences and gates with bolt cutters”.
We mean closed. As in, unsafe. There are fallen trees, unstable slip sites, and very real risks to anyone entering the area.
Please respect the signage, the fences, and the safety of yourself and others. We promise we’ll let you know when it’s open again — no bolt cutters required.
