Brice Creek Trail Report - Aug 16, 2025

Several trail reroutes have spoiled the flow nature of this trail..I've ridden it since maybe 2000 and it was a joy to ride, now even going west downhill its a rock strewn on and off scramble to keep up a rhythm. Trail maintenance is shoddy at best. Having said that, I understand that there weren't many choices for rerouts after these big trees heaved the soil on a steep slope, however If you're going to cut a doug fir, make sure a bike can actually squeeze thru. There's one bridge that has been blown out for 10 years, with no replacement. Looks to be an original structure.
