Description:
"Road Closed" sign in place... presumably because the Appalachian trail can be accessed (which is a national trail) and the government is "shutdown". At least that's my best guess. People were mostly ignoring the signage.

 Actually a park employee said they're resurfacing. They've moved mounds of cinder in to the seasonal parking area too.
