Description:
Great trail with good dirt conditions...the loggers in the Zuni mountains seem to be surprisingly thoughtful (and more likely, the local trail crew is very active and good) as there was noticeable logging activity around the loop we did that inluded Plush, Y2K and portions of Quaking Aspen and Turkey, etc.
Evidence of recent rain but no mud and a tiny amount of erosion...and lots of pinecones that occasionally provided some added spice in the fast corners. The trail could use a good raking in spots, but overall in great shape. Fun, uncrowded and beautiful. What more could you want?!
