Per Forest Service: The Stoner Mesa Fire closure has been lifted. All roads, trails and areas previously closed due to the fire are now open.
Note that equipment, including heavy machinery, remains on the fire completing dozer line suppression near roads and trail. Visitors should be aware of log trucks on Taylor Mesa roads.
