Description:
Clayton Mesa Trail has been affected by the Turkeyfeather fire.
The big log at start of switchbacks burned and is clear. From the Middle Fork up to Clayton Mesa is 7 trees, all passable foot or stock and only two would max out a silky. (crosscut better on those) It did not burn hot at all in there but there is some fire impact to the trail including some stump holes that could cause future tread issues. Clayton Mesa is in good shape. The fire was low to moderate intensity - burning mainly the underbrush
