Dec 13, 2025 Two Dog Trail Report

The Croy Trails were busy with activity Saturday afternoon (Dec. 13). We rolled out from the Croy TH, climbed to the saddle, and continued up Wilson, Centerline, Two Dog, and Bulldog to the trail’s high point. At the saddle, we opted to turn around rather than descend Bulldog toward Bullion Gulch Road after another rider reported muddy sections on the Bullion side.
We retraced our route, then dropped back down Two Dog to return to the trailhead. Overall, trail conditions were good. Sun-exposed sections were dry, while some short north-facing areas had softened up with the afternoon thaw. Deeper shaded zones stayed frozen. A few short stretches were soft and plastic, but mud buildup on tires was minimal. Good riding with some squish here and there, but didn't feel like we were being too hard on the trails.
