Description:
The Burdoin Fire recovery is progressing nicely, and the regrowth adds another dimension to the spectacular gorge scenery. I don't think the fire damage will affect the spring flowers too much, except in the few spots that were scorched all the way down into the ground.
The trunk of the old oak tree near the top of Tracy Hill was burned badly, and maynot survive😩.
Someone rode a horse partway up the Tracy Hill trail, but turned back before reaching the old burnt oak tree. Quite a few hoof holes were punched through the trail.
The backside of the loop has several trees down that require minor detours, and the downhill sections are a bit slippery.
