Jan 02, 2026 Dody Ridge Trail Report

Someone cleared all of the trees on the climb up from the Parkway--THANK YOU! The first drop-in is clear, but there is one tree down across the ridge, and the mountain laurel/bushes have grown in pretty tight and could use a trim across the ridge as well. The chute is also clear, but then after the creek as you start traversing on the old road bed towards the bottom of Black Horse, there are probably 5-6 trees down, and some of them are big (18" diameter).
