As being an old unused track there are lots of trees across it. There was one a few Km in that we had to carry the bikes through the head of the tree and the rest you either hop you bike over or stop and carry it over the log. A great ride though and the forest at the southern end is very pretty! A previous report stated that a permit is required to enter the World Heritage Area but this doesn't apply to bicycles.
