Feb 07, 2026 Belmont 2 Bridleway Trail Report

Currently very over-grown most of the way, nearly 1m tall grass the whole way down with just a faintly visible route down, plus lots of bush at handle-bar height and having to look over the top of it to see where to go next, and hoping you don't hook a strong branch with your handlebars. You can't see the track itself through the grass, just have to trust that there are no rocks, ruts or drop-offs, and luckily none when I rode down. Steeper gravel-rock downhill section near the bottom but clear visibility with no grass so entirely rideable. But a nice challenge nevertheless.
