Description:
caution walking into the trail from the bottom of double track, sidewinder, or tongues out, the hard pack snow is melting into solid ice and the melt under the snow is flowing down. i chopped two water drain trenches in the ice with my axe and shovel, one right over the little wooden bridge at the double track x tongues out crossing so that it thaws for melt drainage a.s.a.p. and one near the entrance to hopefully stop water from flowing to the hydro station. fast bike season soon.
