Description:
Corral Creek on Wed. April 8, 2026 has a couple of very short ice patches in the wooded section that parallels Trail Creek Road, but mostly dry or tacky good soils in the woods there. Where the trail heads east and along Corral Creek Road there was a longer muddy and icy patch as you enter the aspens. I turned around at this point. In years past the trail above this holds snow in places, so it may take a little longer before you will want to take it all the way to the corrals. I will upload a photo of where I turned around in the aspens.
