Description:
Chainsaw lovin' today on the upper switchback section, took out the twisted deadfall tree that needed a walk-around. The rest of North Star was cleared of deadfall two weeks ago so NS is now good to go from the saddle down to Milky Way or Southern Cross. The newest, and funnest, connector to Milky still has big trees down, fairly major bushwhacking involved. Best to avoid it until cleared.
