Description:
Story of a few halves. Riding anti clockwise you start to hit snow patches at a mile right after the three wooden bridges. But they are small, they are worst in cowpat alley behind Grizzly mountain. You can get to Gardner fine although there are 3 trees down that were too big for me to clear. Just now lots of pine cones and needles on trail.

After Gardner getting to Rendezvous is similar except there is a tree down near the road then multiple on the loop, way too many and big to easily clear with a little saw. Better to scoot up the road. Then there is still some big fall as you descend Brita. At this point I stopped tracking it.

Today there is still significant snow in the gully behind Cassal, 1/2 mile of solid post holing to knees until it eased off. So for now, turn back at Rendezvous unless you are big into type 2.

So ride to Gardner or Rendezvous and just come back, or go on the fireroad and cut up after Cassal to do the descent (there is a new sign called “Peach Cobbler”!
