Jul 21, 2026 @ 8:37pm (America/Los_Angeles) Jul 21, 2026 | mtb 2 trees cut out about 1/2 mile before the Gunn Rd trail crossing. Brush & tread work done at beginning of Brita. Still brushy in spots. | Dry | view
May 26, 2026 @ 8:40am (America/Vancouver) May 26, 2026 | mtb One tree down (see picture), but easy to ride around. | Ideal | view
May 24, 2026 @ 10:25am (America/Vancouver) May 24, 2026 | hike Fun ride, trails easy to follow and in good shape | Ideal | view
May 11, 2026 @ 10:29am (America/Vancouver) May 11, 2026 | mtb Trail conditions excellent; beautiful flowers. Two trees down on section between Gunn ranch road and Gardner hut, easily skirted. Numerous trees down over trail in rock garden section just before Rendezvous hut; best to skip this section and take the road to the hut. One tree across descent on Brita section. Great day to ride! | Ideal | view
Apr 9, 2026 @ 1:03pm (America/Los_Angeles) Apr 9, 2026 | mtb Story of a few halves. Riding anti clockwise you start to hit snow patches at a mile right after the three wooden bridges. But they are small, they are worst in cowpat alley behind Grizzly mountain. You can get to Gardner fine although there are 3 trees down that were too big for me to clear. Just now lots of pine cones and needles on trail. After Gardner getting to Rendezvous is similar except there is a tree down near the road then multiple on the loop, way too many and big to easily clear with a little saw. Better to scoot up the road. Then there is still some big fall as you descend Brita. At this point I stopped tracking it. Today there is still significant snow in the gully behind Cassal, 1/2 mile of solid post holing to knees until it eased off. So for now, turn back at Rendezvous unless you are big into type 2. So ride to Gardner or Rendezvous and just come back, or go on the fireroad and cut up after Cassal to do the descent (there is a new sign called “Peach Cobbler”! | Snow Cover Partial | view
Sep 13, 2025 @ 9:08pm (America/Los_Angeles) Sep 13, 2025 | ebike Ok trail, very dry and VERY overgrown, which keeps the speed down and hides the pedal strike gremlins. Wear long pants and gloves or be subject to an intense exfoliation. No trees down / blockages. Doing it in reverse would yield a longer, more flowy descent. | Very Dry | view
May 10, 2025 @ 8:25am May 10, 2025 | mtb All clear except for one tree down on descent, and it can be spotted way ahead. A little soft and could use more traffic. | Variable | view
Apr 25, 2025 @ 10:02pm Apr 25, 2025 | mtb There is still quite a bit of snow in the darker, north facing sections including probably 1/4 mile of walking on the road cut before the final downhill. There are at least a dozen large trees down over the trail too. Maybe best to give it another week or 2. | Variable | view
Sep 23, 2024 @ 8:48am Sep 23, 2024 | mtb very XC trail. I had ridden it before with my kid, but didn't remember the few dh sections have a lot of soft switchbacks which seemed designed to kill speed : ) Highlights: cows, praying mantis, and short jump line at the end of the loop. | Dry | view
Aug 26, 2024 @ 6:41pm Aug 26, 2024 | mtb Incredible late August conditions. Dry and loamy with recent rainfall two days before. Incredible climb and even better decent. Trail is clear and free of debris. | Ideal | view
Jun 28, 2024 @ 7:58pm Jun 28, 2024 | mtb Great shape after some rain. Many cows and calves on the trail, and a lot of their waste. It's not a major problem, but it is annoying. I called the USFS and let them know. | Ideal | view
Jun 28, 2024 @ 7:24pm Jun 28, 2024 | mtb Riding great. A bit loose in some of the flow turns, but not bad for late June. | Ideal | view
May 27, 2024 @ 7:31pm May 27, 2024 | mtb Several rattlesnakes in trail or close to it | Unknown | view
Apr 20, 2024 @ 4:23pm Apr 20, 2024 | mtb Nice up and down loop. Brita section has snow, a downed tree, and could use some brushing. | Variable | view
Oct 7, 2023 @ 9:59pm Oct 7, 2023 | mtb Just rode this. Contrary to previous reporter, there were no blowdowns down from Rendezvous hut, or anywhere. Easy to follow trail. Very nice. And, you should not drive through the Edelweiss subdivision - it's a private road. | Dry | view
Oct 7, 2023 @ 12:34pm Oct 7, 2023 | mtb The trail was gorgeous with the fall foliage in full affect. There was a significant blow down/hike a bike area just after the rendezvous hut. I highly recommend using Trailforks to navigate through this area. Luckily it's switchbacks down below and you can get around and then just head straight down the hill. Other than that it was fun and some good jumps at the end of the run. | Dry | view

Sep 18, 2022 @ 1:39pm Sep 18, 2022 | mtb seems like alot of people were using the fireroads nf5215 to access the middle of the loop, cub right counter clockwise would be a xc descent, cub left clockwise more of a downhill trail | Very Dry | view
Jul 24, 2022 @ 9:15am Jul 24, 2022 | mtb Little bushy for small section in the valley behind Cassal (?) ~10 miles, other than that running fine with some seasonal looseness developing on the back half. | Dry | view
Jul 3, 2022 @ 8:50pm Jul 3, 2022 | mtb | Dry | view
Jul 3, 2022 @ 8:49pm Jul 3, 2022 | mtb | Dry | view
Jun 18, 2022 @ 1:34pm Jun 18, 2022 | mtb What an amazing trail! Well built and maintained. All the hard work is rewarded with a flowy dh at the end. Wildflowers are poppin, get it while it lasts. One tree down just after the third road crossing and just before the first meadow. Its about 6 to 8". Didnt have a saw on me. | Ideal | view
May 23, 2022 @ 8:35pm May 23, 2022 | mtb All clear, 95% dry and ideal with a couple stream crossings | Variable | view
